The Community and Economic Development staff at GRADD assists communities in developing infrastructure-related projects by inputting the project information into the Water Resource Information System and presenting the project to the GRADD Water Management Council for endorsement. GRADD also assists communities by preparing and submitting funding applications to various state and federal funding agencies on behalf of the community. Once a project is funded, GRADD staff can assist a community by administering their project. Through this service, GRADD prepares and submits evidentiary materials, prepares environmental assessments, prepares and submits draw requests, and most of all, serves as a coordinator between the project engineer, local governing body, contractors, funding agencies, etc., to ensure all regulations are followed.
