Housing Services and Information
The Green River Housing Corporation originates loans to borrowers in the seven-county Green River Area who want to renovate, rebuild, repair, and rehabilitate owner-occupied residential properties. Green River Housing also provides loans for existing and new construction loans for low-income families.
Homeowner Rehabilitation Program
GRADD’s Homeowner Rehabilitation program assists low-to-moderate income individuals and families through substantial repairs and reconstruction of severely dilapidated and unsafe housing. Funding through KHC has enabled approximately 48 individuals and families to be assisted since 1992.
The Non-Profit Loan Program provides a low-interest loan pool to assist LMI clients with home repairs, down payment and closing costs for new home purchases and other housing activities.
Funded with an award from the Kentucky Housing Corporation, each year five homes are substantially repaired or reconstructed under this program. Since 1992, over 35 families have been assisted.
