ConnectGRADD

ConnectGRADD, Inc. (CGI) is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at delivering affordable, high-speed broadband Internet access across an entire rural region. One of the first such efforts in the nation, CGI is a collaboration between the fiscal courts of Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties and Internet service provider Q-Wireless.

Over half of the Green River region's 211,000 residents live in rural communities, having to pay over $60 per month on average for DSL or cable Internet service. Comparable service through CGI begins at under $30 per month. Improved broadband infrastructure offers rural residents unprecedented access to e-government services, economic development, entrepreneurship, education, tele-health, and entertainment opportunities.
