Meet the Transportation Department

The Green River Area Development District (GRADD) is involved in numerous initiatives – one being Transportation Planning. The physical environmental and social well being of our community is influenced by the area’s transportation system – the highway, air, water, transit, and rail networks. Transportation planning involves assessing the community’s goals and needs in creating an efficient transportation network for the movement of people and goods. The major goal of the transportation planning process is to prepare both long-range and short-range plans for the area and to provide an ongoing program of technical assistance to the cities and counties. GRADD serves as the staff for metropolitan planning organization for
