REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION

The Green River Area Development District (GRADD) partners with the Kentucky Transportation Planning to facilitate and coordinate regional transportation planning for the non-metropolitan counties of Hancock, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster.  Daviess and Henderson County’s transportation planning is coordinated by the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization, respectively.

The GRADD Regional Transportation Committee was created by the GRADD Board of Directors to provide a forum for elected officials and the public to work together in solving regional transportation problems; act as an advocacy body on transportation issues; act as a data and information base; provide for a means to locally and regionally prioritize transportation projects; and provide input for the Statewide Transportation Plan.  The committee meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday at the GRADD office at 10:00 a.m.  Click here to view the minutes of the most recent meeting of the RTC.
