The Workforce Development Department of the Green River Area Development District offers many services for local business and industry.  In order to plan, prepare and sustain employment opportunities, employers may have the need to gather pertinent information regarding local labor market information.

In the ever-changing workforce, the Workforce Development Department also offers On-the-Job training.  This provides the employee the opportunity to learn job specific skills with an area business that will prepare them for permanent employment.  The employer is afforded financial assistance to train an employee to become a productive member of their team.

Rapid Response is an early intervention service offered to businesses and workers affected by layoffs and plant closings.
